I think that sooner rather than later I am going to have to drag my girlfriend over to Italy to see Gegen, my new favourite band. Of course, I could try and wait for them to possibly tour down here in South Africa but I am not really sure if that dream will ever come true.
Plus, ever since I met my girlfriend on a Pretoria singles site she has told me about how she wants to see Europe and this would be the perfect chance!
I don't think she is particularly in to this type of music (I caught her listening to Kelly Clarkson the other day - I guess opposites really do attract!) but I think that the opportunity to see Italy will probably negate any concerns she has about seeing a metal band! My friends ask me why I didn't get together with someone with the same tastes in music as me on the Pretoria singles site, but the answer to that is quite simple - this girl looks like Scarlett Johansson, that's why I got together with her!
